USDA Rural Development specializes in loan guarantees to for-profit businesses as well as non-profit institutions that provide essential community services. Loan guarantees and direct loans are also available for single family and multi-family clients. For-profit businesses can benefit from the improved rates and terms that banks are often able to structure as a result of a loan guarantee. Local approval authority of $7.5 million insures timely delivery. Bankers and their small business clients can also benefit from the USDA RD Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency grant and loan guarantee program.
